i constantly scout the player with the highest score's base to make sure he/she isn't sending an early attack. I focus ONLY on economy for as long as possible. i can't really describe it, but i have a few recorded games that show my strategy in play. Sloppisloth, my strategy is basically a very flexible one that took me like a year to actually get familiar with it. probably be coming here more often now that i seem to have earned myself a place in the forum Have you tried heavy scorps? or massed scorps? maybe behind a shield of halbs or even skirms to stand a chance against plumed archers, that might work.Īlso, i sometimes use the combo of plumed archers and EWs, most of the time i have trouble with paladins (forget to, or dont build enough halbs) mass hussars might work, (really cheap)īut overall, i think vikings are just generally a weak civ, good naval, but ships cannot take down towns so pritty useless in the long run. Well if you remember, it was me(mayans) and chinese player vs byz, sams, brits (i think)Īnd basically, the chinese player was on the verge of giving up so we just accepted defeat and had that game rubbed into our faces.
